To our new booking site for the travel to school bus clubs managed by CTS Bus. At the top of this page Click on School Bus Services and then on the school. You can select the routes, view stops and proceed to book by clicking on the shopping trolley. You will need to set up a new account.
You MUST then send a photo by email to firstname.lastname@example.org using the childs name and booking reference so we can produce a Travel Pass.
When a route is fully booked you will be able to add yourself to a waiting list. To do this please request a call back from the book now page. We can then see if it is possible to increase the size of bus or offer an alternative route. We hope you find the site easy to use and we will continue to develop the system going forward.
2020 Price increase - Updated Due to Covid 19 Uncertainty -
2020 brings the biggest challenge we have ever had to deal with in over 35 years of managing school bus routes. We always try to keep costs as low as possible and school daytime hires subsidise all routes.
We have had to adjust the price for the next academic year due to Covid 19. A direct result of social distancing and likely loss of all other group / school coach trips the cost will now be £200 higher than previously advertised. The Prices on the website booking system have been changed from the 1st May 2020. Anyone who booked at the earlier lower price will be advised of the increase and given the option to cancel if they wish.
All Coach Companies are being forced to fit wheelchair lifts to all vehicles that take children to school at a massive cost of between £25,000 and £35,000 each depending upon the vehicle model. This is a government requirement and must be provided even though we never get a request to use them on the Home to school routes. Depending on the model of the vehicle leaving the space we know we will not use also reduces the number of passengers which adds to the cost per person for the bus.
We will continue to offer the best possible travel options to school at a cost that is kept to a minimum without cutting corners. We do not allow standing passengers, everyone has to have a seat and a seat belt. Many school buses still do not have seat belts fitted, but we believe they are an inportant part of keeping passengers safe.
We will be challenged further in future years as we strive to reduce emmissions by switching to Euro 6 vehicles. We are having to do this as in the future the London standard for Clean Air Zones is being rolled out nationwide. Leeds CAZ, due to start in July has now been delayed till January 2020. Bradford consultation is ongoing but no date has been announced for the CAZ and Euro 6 engine requirement.

Cronavirus - Emergency Bus Provision
We have volunteer drivers who will operate an emergency service, for children who have no other option, but to go to school.
This is available only to pupils who travel on our services and who's parents are on the key workers list.
Parents must register children with both School and with CTS to access the service.
All CTS passengers who must go to school during this difficult time can still do so.
Parents are advised that there is a clear risk in using the bus and you should only go to school if no other alternative is available to you.
Hand sanitiser is available and should be used on all CTS Buses.
All those who have booked on for Monday 23rd March onwards have been sent the Emergency Route Timetable.
Schools are providing a Child Minding service and not normal lessons.
