Wakefield Grammar School - Clarification Request from School
Wakefield Grammar School Foundation has demanded that we do not show any of their logos or institutional names on our website. and also to issue the following statement to clarify on our platform that CTS Travel is not affiliated with the Wakefield Grammar School Foundation and is not an official school representative. We would like to apologise if we have in any way inadvertenty implied any relationship with Wakefield Grammar School.
We have always cooperated with Wakefield Grammar School previously and only upon request of the school did we cancel the routes we previously ran up until 3 years ago. We agreed, following request from a provider based in the south of England and school to stop running the service. Having not offered the service now for the agreed 3 year period, we have now, following parents requests, decided to offer our bespoke services once again.
We can confirm that CTS Bus Ltd has no trading relationship or any other connection with Wakefield Grammar School Foundation. CTS Bus Ltd acts as a completely independant company offering travel solutions to parents who require transport for their children using our Home to school services. We are not regulated or audited by any school. The contracts we offer are private arrangements solely between CTS Bus Ltd and individual parents. Parents and potential partners are welcome to visit our premises and discuss any arrangements with our very experienced team who specialise in Home to School Travel.

Book Early for Next Academic year - You have to make a new booking for each year.
Bookings open on 1st March each year for the next academic year.
To guarantee your place you need to book early as the routes usually fill up quickly with new passengers.
If you currently use the service please book by the end of April to ensure you keep your place on the bus.
After April you may have to be on a waiting list whilst we try to accommodate everyone who needs a seat on the school bus.
Snow Day Arrangements
If snow or other weather incidents cause us to cancel a service parents are advised by text message as soon as possible.
We also post a message on this website. The decision is usually announcced before 07:00 in the morning. Please do not call our office to see if the bus is running, as we may not be able to answer. In difficult weather all our staff are deployed checking routes and making things as safe as possible for our passengers. If you do not receive a message and nothing is posted on our website, then the buses are expected to be running. They may arrive late due to travel difficulties.
Parents should check the arrangements for when bad weather may affect the school bus service.
We may declare a SNOW DAY which means the buses are only travelling on main roads.

A delayed start may also be announced if we feel conditions may improve.
When a delayed start is declared you will be advised of the start time from the first stop and you should then be able to calculate how long it will be from the first stop to your usual pick up point. Remember we will be working to the Snow Day timetable and not the usual daily timetable.
Remember, if we do not run the morning service, then the afternoon is also cancelled. This is to deter parents from attempting the journey, in difficult conditions.

The CTS office will be closed from 3.00pm on Friday 19th December and reopen on Monday 5th January at 9.00am

Full Academic Year Contract
Parents are reminded that they are signing up to a contract for the full academic year. A £80 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. You may cancel your contract any time up to the 30th August. After this the full amount is due, even if you stop using the service during the academic year. This is to keep costs down for everyone as we do not add a margin for cancelled or unused seats. Please be aware you may not be able to use the service every day, if school closes or there are local restrictions due to Covid 19. Please be sure you wish to book before entering into the contract.

The CTS Bus Office will be closed for annual leave on Monday 4th August
and will open again on Wednesday 27th August. If you need to contact us
